- Train and develop our staff
How your data may be collected
Your data will be collected by telephone during an initial enquiry or in person. In order for us to carry out the mediation process we require your personal data.
Who we will share your Personal data with?
In order for us to progress you case it may be necessary to share your data with other parties. This may include:
- The Legal Aid Agency, if you are eligible for public funding
- Experts and Counsel, we instruct on your behalf e.g. Accountants, Barristers, Financial advisors
- Other parties such as HM Land Registry, your bank/ building society.
- Third parties whom we may outsource some of our services to. These include: Digital dictation and Costs Draftsman,
- Our Regulators
- Professional Indemnity Insurers
- External Auditors

Where your personal data is held?
Information may be held by Winstanley Mediation and any third parties we instruct.
If one of the third parties is based outside the European Economic Area, we will write to inform you.

We are relying on your consent to carry out a mediation service for you. If you engage with us for mediation, you are agreeing to the terms of this policy.
You have the right to withdraw your consent. This will not effect the lawfulness of any processing activity we have carried out prior to you opting to withdraw consent. Please refer to ‘How to contact us’ in order to do this.
How long your personal data is stored
Files are stored for a period of 6 years
Recruitment
If you apply for a position with us, we will request personal data from you. As to how long this data is held will be dependent on the success of your application. Unsuccessful applicant’s information is retained for no longer than 12 months.
